In our 2-2:30 hours walk, we visit the most relevant buildings of Valencia Old Town. We begin at the Art Nouveau train station “Estación del Norte” in the very centre of Valencia.
From here we go to the Town Hall Square to enjoy the Post Office and the renovated Square. After a 3 minutes, walk we discover how important were the silk and oranges industries for the history and evolution of Valencia at the Ripalda street, Central Market and Silk Market (this building from 15th century and UNESCO World Heritage List).
Time to discover 5 squares: Doctor Collado Square, Lope de Vega Square, Round Square, Queen Square and Virgin Square. At the heart of Valencia, we walk through Serranos street till the main protection element of the city: the Serranos Towers.
Back to the Cathedral, we visit the Roman heritage and the Romanic gate which leads us to some quiet and relaxing streets. La Paz street is the beginning of the last part our walk: the Barroque Palace of Marquis of Dos Aguas reminds us how important and powerful was this man.
Shopping time at the Poeta Querol street, Don Juan de Austria street and Colón street before finishing our journey at the Colón Market, another Art Nouveau building and the perfect place to have a coffee and share the several pictures we have taken at the social networks. Enjoy this day with us.
