Will I need a visa or other documentation for any of your tours?
Tourswalking unfortunately is not able to offer advice regarding visas, passports or health requirements for international travelers. Please check with your country’s consulate office for the most up-to-date details regarding the above.
Do I need travel insurance?
While travel insurance is not required, we highly recommend that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy prior to departure to protect your travel purchases. At this time, Tourswalking does not offer travel insurance, however our products can be covered under various independent insurance programs. If you do purchase travel insurance, please review your policy carefully for specific terms and conditions.
Can I book activities locally or on-site?
Tourswalking is only able to take bookings either via our website or over the phone. We don’t currently have offices that accept in-person or onsite bookings.

Does the tour operator provide child seats?
Most of our tour operators are able to provide child seats. Please be sure to add this request in the ‘special requirements’ field upon checkout. Once you receive your ticket, we recommend contacting the local operator directly to confirm this request. NOTE: There may be an additional cost involved, depending on the local tour operator.
Can I customize a tour on your website?
Unfortunately, all tours on the Tourswalking.com website must be taken "as-is," meaning we're not able to make changes to the itineraries listed. We do have thousands of options of tours to choose from - be sure to read through their itineraries and inclusions to find the one that best suits your needs!
How can I find out if my tour is handicap accessible?
To see if a tour is accessible or not, please click on the Additional Info or Before You Book section. Any information we have been given about special needs accessibility will be listed here. If you require further information, you can contact us.
How can I be sure that the tours I book are free of animal cruelty?
Tourswalking takes animal welfare very seriously. All of our tours that involve animals are thoroughly evaluated to ensure adherence to the ABTA Global Welfare Guidance for Animals in Tourism.
How do I choose the best tour/activity?
With so many amazing activities on Tourswalking.com, we know it can be tough to choose! Here’s a good way to narrow it down: 1. Enter your destination (i.e. Paris, Tokyo, etc.) into the search box on Tourswalking.com. From there, you can choose to view: 1.1. The main page for your destination, which features our most popular tours and activities in that place. 1.2. Specific activities in your destination. 1.3. Attraction and recommendation pages, which include insider tips about the top things to do in your destination. 2. You can also use the left navigation bar to look at types of activities in a particular destination, such as food tours, helicopter rides, etc. TIP: All of the activities you see are offered “as is,” which means they can’t be customized. But don’t worry, we have tons of options (and some tours with multiple options!), and we’re sure you’ll find the perfect activity for your trip.
How many photographs can I upload when I put a tour in my partner?
You can upload up to 6 photos in the gallery per tour and also the main photo, 7 in total. If you upload more the rest will be deleted.
How does online tours work?
Online tours are like normal tours but are done from home by videoconference. After making the reservation the guide or the company that performs the tour will contact you and give you the link or the way to do the tour online. You need to have a good internet connection and a computer, laptop, tablet or mobile.

What is Tourswalking Become Local Expert?
Tourswalking is a platform that allows you to create experiences that travelers from all over the world can book and buy online, from guided tours to surf lessons, among many others. Suppliers that sell products with us reach customers through Tourswalking.com and thousands of partner sites.
Who can register?
Anyone can, from large tour operators to family-run vineyards or even a local expert offering a walking tour of their town or city. You just need to be aged 18 or over and comply with all applicable laws and regulations in which you operate.
What do I get when I sign up?
You’ll get a business listing (if you don’t already have one) which is a dedicated page on Tourswalking that showcases your business and reviews. You’ll also get free access to the Tourswalking Become Local Expert Management Center where you can publish products on Tourswalking, and manage your bookings and reviews. Any products you create will be shown on your Tourswalking listing.
How do I get paid?
You can collect whenever you want, you only need a minimum accumulated of 50 € in your account and you can already charge to choose by bank transfer, paypal or stripe, this is done from your withdrawal partner account.
How much does it cost?
There are no sign-up costs to become a supplier on Tourswalking. You decide exactly how much you want to earn when creating a product and then we set the price travelers pay—the difference is the amount we keep. You receive your earnings directly to your bank or PayPal. Simple.
Do I have to sell products?
No, there’s no obligation to actually sell products if you don’t want to. If all you’re looking for is a listing on Tourswalking to collect reviews and share info with customers, you’re still in the right place! When you create your account, you’ll automatically get a listing and you can update it whenever you like from the Management Center.
How much do you charge me for each booking?
We charge for each booking 20% of the total tour value and the rest is for you.
What do you charge for the service?
We charge 20% of each booking.
Can I put Tripadvisor comments on my tours?
If you can put it and if you want to put it contact us to indicate how to do it.
How does online tours work?
Online tours are like normal tours but it is done without people in person, clients do the internet tour from their homes by videoconference (you choose the videoconferencing company you want to work with, example: skype, zoom, etc.). When making a booking, you pass the contact details and you get in touch with the client and you pass the details of the meeting on the date and time and the company with which you make the videoconference.
