Overview

In this excursion, you will visit the village of Santillana del Mar which is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. While walking through its cobbled streets, you will see beautiful medieval houses, towers and mansions. You will also visit the Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana, the jewel of the Romanesque in Cantabria. Moreover, you will enjoy some free time for shopping or having a snack.

Our next stop will be to visit the Museum and Research Center of Altamira. This Museum houses a scale replica of the famous cave of Altamira, this is the so-called “neocave”. This cave was the first cave to be discovered in the world with cave art and it was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1985. The visit to the neocave is very comfortable and it is a must-visit if you want to learn more about Paleolithic art left by our ancestors. Enjoy your vacation with us.
