Overview

The neighborhood of Santa Cruz and the Jewish Quarter are the nucleus of Seville and in the same way it was also for many civilizations throughout history that managed to occupy its streets for many years in the history of Seville. We will discover the 2,000 years of history that surround the most real streets of Seville, perceiving all the corners full of stories and life. We go through the entire Santa Cruz neighborhood formed by all the streets that delimit the south by the Murillo Gardens and by the 12th century Arab wall that will take us to see narrow streets worth visiting, such as the Agua and Vida streets having let us fall in love on Judería Street with tributes to great authors such as Luis Cernuda.

Let yourself be photographed with your partner, friend, relative, acquaintance or stranger in the Kiss Corner. Neighborhood full of stories and history where we will tell you all the originalities that succumbed throughout this time. Romantic, tragic, real, legendary stories and even myths that are found in every corner of this area. We will find out and understand all the stories that happened in the well-known spring of 1391, what really happened? A historical massacre in the heart of the Jewish quarter that left a lot of blood and many stories to discover. We will visit the three most important synagogues that appeared at that time and where we can currently discover different emblematic churches of Seville. A neighborhood worth visiting to be able to move back in time to what it was and go back to today to see what it is today.

Streets full of inspiration for painters, poets, singers or even for ourselves and that have served as the setting for many films today. What is the exact meaning of these streets? Why are they known as Calle Agua and Calle Vida? What do Figaro, the barber of Seville and Plaza Alfaro have in common? Where can we find Susona street? You will find all the answers to these questions in our tour of Santa Cruz and the Jewish Quarter. Enjoy this day with us.
