Ojos Negros The longest Greenway in Spain. Discover in a single trip three important provinces of Spain: Teruel, Castellón and Valencia.
Private route where you will cross the incredible and changing landscape of the infinite plains and the mythical Sierra de Javalambre in Teruel and its UNESCO Heritage. You will enjoy the Palancia river, the most important in Castellón and the spectacular Natural Parks of Sierra Espadán and Sierra Calderona. In Valencia you will surrender at the foot of the Mediterranean Sea and the magnificent Albufera de Valencia Natural Park. The tour begins in the town of Albarracín in Teruel and ends in the Albufera natural park in Valencia.

After breakfast we start our route through the Ojos Negros Greenway following the route that in other times was made to transport coal from the interior (Ojos Negros) to the sea (Sagunto). On our trip we will pass through inland towns such as Gea de Albarracin and Cella where the largest artesian well in Europe and the second in the world (from the 12th century) is a must. We arrive in Teruel - home of the Lovers of Teruel, capital of Mudejar art and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here we will enjoy not only its cultural and architectural heritage: Neomudéjar Staircase; Torre del Salvador, Plaza del Tórico, Los Amantes de Teruel, but also its gastronomy in which the truffle occupies a place of excellence.

From Teruel to Mora Station we will pass through incredible pine forests to Puerto de Escandón, an old mining railway station and we will cross the Sierra de Javalambre. We go down to Puebla de Valverde, passing through the Fondica de La Estación, an old mining road station with an outdoor terrace next to the Ojos Negros Greenway. Here we can rest and eat. We continue our way through spectacular stone bridges, viaducts and tunnels. We will pedal accompanied by a wonderful vegetation of holm oaks where the largest production of Black Truffle in the world is concentrated until we reach the Mora Station, where we will live experiences such as truffle tourism and astrotourism. This is a region with low light density, which allows us to observe the most starry sky in Spain.

Our journey now takes us to Segorbe, capital of Alto Palancia, and with an impressive architectural heritage declared a Site of Cultural Interest. We will cross the Albentosa Tunnel and enter the El Palancar Forest, an area of gall oaks (Valencian oak) and holm oaks (holm oaks). We will pass through charming towns such as Barracas, Caudiel, Jérica and Navajas and the incredible Mirador del Ragudo places, where the Calderona and Espadán Sierras are observed. Afternoon visits to the town of Segorbe.

On our journey from Segorbe to Canet we will pass through inland towns always surrounded by orange trees and through the Sierra Calderona Natural Park. We leave Canet D`Enberenguer to pedal along the Vía Churra and Vía Augusta accompanied by the Mediterranean Sea and from the heart of the orchard to Valencia, a city of great names such as Joaquín Sorolla or Blasco Ibáñez. Valencia is a city that combines past and modernity. On the one hand, its imposing UNESCO heritage, the Cathedral of Valencia, the Tribunal de las Aguas, among others. On the other hand, the modernity reflected in the City of Arts and Sciences, an architectural, cultural and entertainment complex designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela. Another characteristic element of Valencia of great social, landscape and environmental importance is the Turia riverbed, known as the lung of Valencia. Afternoon visits to the old town of Valencia.
