“Plaça Catalunya” is the main and central square of the city that has historically seen many changes throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. Our tour starts here, where I will be talking about the main attractions from this location. All the way up “Passeig de Gràcia”- which is the main avenue of this district. As we go up this avenue. I will be talking about the history and rise of the emblematic masterpieces from the Modernism era of Barcelona. How they converted the city into the beautiful gem we see today. Some of the famous ones we will stop by are: Cases Antoni Rocamora, Casa Batlló, Casa Milà, and others. We will then head to the metro station to get to the other side of the Eixample district.
We will find the famous “Hospital Sant Pau” – which is not just a hospital, but also a beautiful piece of architecture by the renown Lluís Domènech i Muntaner. After I explain about the story of this incredible masterpiece. We will head down to the Sagrada Familia- a temple by Gaudí, which is yet to be completed by 2026. Our tour ends at this location, where we can either have lunch at the nearby restaurants. Easily take public transportation to our desired location. Enjoy this city with us.
