We paid (45€ per person) for an extended Segway Tour with Me, which is outsourced to a near by Segway provider. The e-bike tours seem to be run by We but not the Segway.
Our experience of the staff was good. Relaxed, friendly people. The tour guide was a really nice, a considerate guy. However, his detail was a little brief/minimal whenever we stopped. This was disappointing as we felt a small tour would offer so much more detail about the history, architecture and beauty of this lovely city.
In fairness, our tour guide did have two (one a self proclaimed ‘experienced’ Segway rider) tricky, opinionated tourists in our group of five. The tricky two wanted us to go faster, different routes, exhibited impatience with traffic and at one point disappeared. Regardless, you never know who you’ll get to share a tour with so, even though unfortunate for us, the tour guide handled them well enough and maybe that was why other areas were not as detailed.
We stopped at various points to have photo opportunities (Metropolis, Palacio de Cristal, El Retiro Park, Royal Palace of Madrid etc.) but the advertised stop at the Cathedral and Crypt did not happen.
The tour detail says the cathedral access and crypt tickets are within the price of the tour. On querying this afterwards, We tours admitted you don’t need tickets for the cathedral or crypt so you aren’t gaining anything extra within the price of the Segway tour. This is something they need to change on their advertising as a) we didn’t do it on the extended tour and b) the cathedral and crypt are free to enter anyway whether you are alone or on a tour.
The experience was fun. Being on a Segway is fun and a first for us. We had helmets provided but no water (as advertised).
There are other tour providers who offer Segway tours and they appear a little more together, as in helmeted with fluro vest, which adds to the feeling that safety is paramount when in a very busy city on main roads.
A nice touch at the end of the tour is a glass of bubbles before departing into the bustling streets of a city that keeps giving.
A charming walled city, with winding streets and quaint shops. The Cathedral is beyond gorgeous. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate.

Tour cancelled
Cannot rate this tour as it was cancelled by the tour company. I wish they gave us the option to reschedule it to another day instead of asking us to join another tour that was multi area

Not As Advertised; Not Full Day, No Cathedral Included
Tour was supposed to go from 8:30am to 7:30pm. Left on time, arrived in Toledo and toured the city with a guide from around 10am until noon. Since the guide had to repeat all comments in both english and spanish perhaps the tour would have even been shorter if it was just in english. At noon we were told we had the rest of the day to ourselves and the van would be picking us up at 5. Late afternoon we were refused entrance to the cathedral since we didn't have a separate ticket. At that point, there was no guide to contact and the line to purchase a ticket was VERY LONG. We did not see the cathedral. At 5 the van picked us up and returned us to the We Madrid office at 5:50...not 7:30 as advertised. We were given Cava and chocolates.
Normally I would have complained and asked for a refund but I was recovering from food poisoning I picked up the night before. I didn't have the energy to complain. At least the Trip Advisor community is now warned to not waste your time and money on this company.
I prefer the small group type of tours and We Madrid sure seems to be the operator to go with. The van was small but spacious, plenty of leg room for my 6'2" frame.
My guide Ignatio was great, very well spoken and willing to answer any questions that we had. Our tour was on both Spanish and English so there was occasional standing around waiting around for all involved to get the info in their language.
Interestingly our guide referred to the English part of the tour as his (mi familia) family and the Spanish as his boys (mi chicos), quite endearing.
I would totally use We Madrid for my future tours in Spain.

Lots of fun but not totally what was advertised
