Hiking along the cliffs of the Maro–Cerro Gordo Natural Park

This circular hiking route will take us to visit the Natural Park of Maro – Cerro Gordo and it´s cliffs, which rise imposingly over the Mediterranean waters of the Alboran Sea.

In other times, these mountains were home to bandits, their waters gave way to pirates and was the gateway to kingdoms rich by their lands, by their ancestral knowledge.

On the path we will find an ancient watchtower, still today with its gaze fixed on the sea. The presence of mountain goats will accompany us on our steps, we will see hidden coves, we will even discover hidden tropical crops.

We can also enjoy the pleasure of the sea, where we will have free time to recover energy, whoever wishes, enjoy a bath on the beach. These waters are teeming with life too! Enjoy this day with us.
