Discover the world of the visionary architect Antoni Gaudí on a 2 hour guided tour of Barcelona’s magical Park Güell, and discover one of the sites that made this architect so revered.

Opened to the public in 1922 it was declared World’s Heritage by Unesco in 1984. Located in a residential suburb, it was financed by the businessman Eusebi Güell and meticulously planned by Gaudí with waterfalls, a market place and square, gardens, and impressive architectural constructions. The characteristic features of modernism with the original Gaudí’s creations (presence of nature, broken tile mosaics and impossible shapes).

During the guided tour you will enjoy the mix of highly advanced technical engineering and fantasy decoration. You will see the famous mosaic dragon, serving as an overflow for the underground water cistern, and the curved mosaic bench around the square, which simultaneously acts as a seat, balcony, and wonderful work of art worldwide-known. Stunning!

I absolutely recommend a visit to Park Guell, and the tour was a huge enhancement to our visit. With the private tour you get access to the restricted monument section of the park. The guide is able to give you the history and stories behind each piece of Gaudi work and the park itself. My favorite attraction to visit in Barcelona was the park, so unique! After the work, we walked to see three of Gaudi's houses/buildings in the city. Seeing the exteriors was sufficient for us, and they all had very unique architectural designs to say the least.
