We’ll bike through the Gothic Quarter and the Born area. On the way you will hear stories told by your local guide about the historical background of the city. That will send you on a journey through your imagination to middle ages Barcelona. Then fast forward to the late nineteenth Century. The times that shaped the city and transformed it into the jewel it is today.
Later on, you will admire Gaudí´s fountain in the Ciutadella Park before heading towards the Arc de Triomf and the Eixample neighbourhood. We then will bike through the magnificent expansion of the city which brings us to Gaudí´s most appreciated magnum opus, the Sagrada Família. Here we’ll have a stop where your guide will explain the details of this fascinating church and tell you anecdotes from Gaudí´s life. As the tour continues we will follow comfortable cycle tracks biking through the chic Eixample neighbourhood and stop by the two most emblematic buildings built by Antoni Gaudí: Casa Milá and Casa Batlló.
When the tour has concluded, we hope that we will have given you a feeling of not just having met the Master Antoni Gaudí from the perspective of an extraordinary architect, but as well, as the sensitive artist that he was. Enjoy this city with us.
