Highlight of our trip!

Couldn't have asked for a better guide than Dylan! This was a very small tour-only four of us and Dylan made us feel like long lost friends! The tour started by us meeting at the WE Madrid office next to San Miguel Market. Very easy to find and comfortable lounge to wait in. We were picked up by Dylan in a Mercedes van which was very comfortable. First stop was Toledo. We met our local guide who did a great job. Very personal. The only suggestion I would make would to increase the amount of time in Toledo. There wasn't enough time to do any shopping or get a bite to eat. Our next stop was to the Ranch. Beautiful country! We were treated to a typical tapas lunch with 4 different varieties of ham (from their Iberian pigs), cheese (from their sheep), bread with tomato spread, gazpacho, olive oil and wine produced on the farm. Ended with coffee and cookies. We toured the farm in a covered truck which was nice since the sun was strong. Loved seeing all the animals, vines and olive trees. Dylan went out of his way to make this tour truly memorable. He also gave us a restaurant recommendation and my husband and I went to dinner the following night with the other couple on the tour. Happy to make new friends and had a wonderful evening!

Great day trip

James ( our driver) and Tamar (guide) were enthusiastic and made for an interesting day. Agree with all previous reviews. Would have preferred more time in Toledo and maybe a lunch in town. Definitely, worth getting tickets to the cathedral. We liked the hot soup, breads, ham and cheese, and the cookies. It was enough for lunch, but seemed light. Enjoyed the farm tour. We would recommend this tour!! If you are an independent traveler, we’ve heard you could just take the train to Toledo from Madrid, walk around and tour cathedral and other sites at your leisure, but then you would miss seeing the King’s cousin’s estate.

Great tour combination

Combination of Toledo and farm visit was timed just right. Our guide, Paula, was informative, knowledgeable, answered all questions, and had the farm staff explain about the farm, I.e. how bulls are raised, etc. The lunch at the farm was delicious, several courses of the farm’s products with their own wine. The ride in the Jeep around the farm was very interesting and provided a great escape from the city for the day. All in all a great day.

Wolmarans Family

All members of our family enjoyed this trip tremendously! Guide Paula was excellent, adding very special personal touches to our visit to Toledo. The lunch around the table at the farm is an excellent way of getting to know your fellow visitors better! Special mention of our coach driver Suzo, very safe and smooth! Both he and guide Paula made this day in the countryside very enjoyable. Money well spent! Highly recommended!

Escape from the big city

This was a great opportunity to take a break from the big city of Madrid. It was worth visiting the farm and Segovia city even though it was bit of a grind to get out of the Madrid morning peak hour traffic. The farm safari was very enjoyable starting with a tasty brunch at the farm house. Our farm guide Monica, assisted by our tour guide Paula gave insightful commentary on all the farm animals and how they are managed.Segova city tour was fascinating particularly the Roman aqueduct still standing the test of time, the cathedral and the Alcazar Real. Special thanks to Paula for her relaxed but professional style of guiding and to the equally friendly Monica at the farm.
