Been living in Barcelona 4 years but Aaron showed me parts I had never seen before and learned so many things. So enjoyable, I would recommend this tour to local & tourist, alike. Well worth it.

A tour through the time
We cover different places in historic sites of Barcelona, beginning in Sat. Maria del Mar, and ending 2 hours + in the Cathedral. In between, jew neighborhood, romanic and gotic places, fulfilled with historic explanations.

"La Catedral del Mar" - A tour around medieval Barcelona
It is an nice tour that allows you to visit some of the scenarios of the best-seller book "La catedral del Mar" (Cathedral of the Sea) written by Ildefonso Falcones. The guide gives a lot of information about the Medieval Age in Barcelona. Even though, in general, it is quite interesting, we lacked a bit of more references to the book.

"Shadow of the Wind" -Very Nice Tour!
One thing I've learned is to take tours wit local tour guides. The difference is that they are passionate about they show you. Our tour guide was all smiles and happy to accommodate detours because of City closings, etc. I recommend flipping through the pages of the book if you read it a while ago just to refresh your memory a bit. Bring comfy shoes and the 2.5 hour will fly! Nice way to walk the Gothic even if you didn't read the book.
Taking part in 'The Shadow of the Wind' guided walk was a great and very creative way of discovering some of Barcelona's rich history and culture thanks to a very committed and knowledgable guide and her love for story telling.
