Interesting to see, but a long day

I enjoyed this tour, but it was a very long day. I always try to get out of the city to see a bit of the country and this tour accomplished this during my stay in Madrid. I would make sure that you meet at the second meeting point if possible. You get to sleep in a little more and that's needed.

Very Nice Tour

You see just enough. Beautiful place. The pacing was just right and did not feel rushed. Irene our tour guide very nice and knowledgeable. The only thing is I feel they should just have the tour in 1 language (English in my case). Irene the guide was speaking Spanish for one couple who wasn't even that attentive. They were too busy taking selfies. She could have conserved her voice and energy by doing the entire tour in English. Even with her strong Spanish accent it was very easy to understand her. I highly recommend.

English Tour -questions continue !?!?!?

The tour was advertised and sold as an English tour. Even prior to boarding the bus our guide David was asking if we understood Spanish. While we do understand some Spanish and try to use it as much as possible were taking our grand daughter with us and she did not understand Spanish. It seemed that David thought that because the majority of the group of 13 spoke Spanish that the majority of his explations should be in Spanish followed by less detail in English. The tour operator must be honest in these matters. Entry into more than only Alcazar, and the Cathedral in Toledo would enhance the trip experience. The fidling aroud with the discount price values advertised in the days preceeding departure did not serve to create a good impression. David did to bring extra material (illustrations) into his explanations and later in the day seemed to expand his English descriptions to some extent.

Great Tour If You have Little Time

I went on this tour because I was trying to cram exploring Spain with a work trip. Our tour guide was David and he was super helpful, patient, and we were able to learn a lot about Segovia and Toledo in one day. I would highly recommend this tour if you are pressed for time and want to maximize a day exploring outside of Madrid.

Lots to see in a limited amount of time

Step One...find your bus. The address listed does not exist. Wait for buses to arrive on a side street and start walking up and down the street asking bus drivers if they are going to Segovia. Lots of people walking up and down frantically looking for their bus. Poor organization. Once the trip started, we were in traffic. This caused a shortage of time in Segovia but it couldn't be helped. David was our guide and the pace was rather quick. The people kept up without incident. It was quite refreshing not to have people whining about the walk. It is a lot of walking. David spoke in both English and Spanish. That did take up extra time. Then, on to Toledo. Lots of walking. David escorted us in the beginning, handed us a map and we were on our own. Almost impossible to navigate to the Jewish section due to its location and maze like streets. The Jewish section is a major part of Toledo but not enough time to get there. Everything was quite rushed even though it was a 12 hour trip. I would suggest doing one city at a time. There is so much to see here in a minimal amount of time. I can't say David was helpful but he did do a good job on the areas he covered.
