A fun and quick overview of Toledo-thanks Ishmael

We decided to go on this tour at the last minute, having only half a day up our sleeve meant options were limited. This was a great surprise. Toledo is a beautiful city with a rich history and the half day tour was a good amount of time to get a feel for the place. Our guide Ishmael was informative, friendly and entertaining! Thanks for a great half day out!

One day at Toledo: Beautiful place

We arrived to Madrid thinking of ways to spend time getting to know historical places. We checked for the reviews on trip advisor and we found BusVision as a very well reviewed company; later we knew they are top tour companies in Madrid and they live up to it. When visiting Toledo on a whole day they picked us up at the designated location on a VIP type of bus very clean and comfortable. One in Toledo we were assigned to the tour guide Zoraya who is a lovely girl who is native from Toledo and so brings her experience to the comments, the tour was Eng/Spa and she managed to keep both audiences interested in every description she made. We visited the Cathedral, Monastery, Santa Maria La Blanca and Santo Tome Church including the El Greco Master Piece - this one was as well very well explained by Zoraya. On the way back to Madrid they made various stops and were on time. We highly recommend taking this one day trip to Toledo; this is a city to enjoy, their arts on steel like swords and armors are beautiful same as for their old buildings and history. Having the chance to use the services of Bus Vision was wonderful and get to meet our Guide Zoraya was excellent.

Toledo is a beautiful city but the tour did not live up to expectations

As the bus was 25 minutes late leaving Madrid we did not have time for both lunch and guided tour, so had to choose. The guide tried hard, but there were too many people and her English was not particularly good. It was also very hot, so we opted to have lunch in the cool and do our own sightseeing. At the end, our tour bus took us on a short trip around the city, which was interesting and this time there was another guide who spoke more clearly.

A pleasant, hassle-free visit to beautiful Toledo

I took the Toledo-Experience bus (8 hrs with ticket to the Alcazar) and was fully satisfied. The tour itself is 2 1/2 hours long, leaving some time to visit places on your own (the El Greco Museum is certainly worth a visit). I took the tour in Spanish and was very pleased with our guide Lorena: knowledgeable, humorous and entertaining. From the reviews I have read, the tours in Spanish have a much higher satisfaction rating than the English ones, so if you do speak Spanish, I strongly encourage you to take it in Spanish. Some things irremediably get lost in translation. While some people say that you can visit Toledo on your own for cheaper, the convenience and insights from the guides is worth it. For 25 euros, I personally couldn't complain.
