Overview

Enjoy a day in Toledo from its different points of view: culture, gastronomy and tradition. Visit a Dehesa Castellana, a typical spanish pasture, in a 4WD and savor a delicious lunch full of local products from the pasture.

You will leave in the morning in a luxurious Mercedes towards Toledo, and when your guide arrives, he will surprise you with lots of curiosities of the city. Tour will discover, among many other things, why Toledo was the capital of Spanish empire and what it still represents nowadays for the country. Before leaving towards the Estate, your guide will give you free time to do some shopping and enjoy Toledo on your own.

After discovering all the wonders of the city, you will visit a Dehesa Castellana, property of the current Count of Mazarambroz. This is where you will get to know first-hand the Castilian tradition and its gastronomy.

When arriving at the Dehesa, you will begin by visiting the its lands in a 4WD, and you will discover everything about the Iberian pig. After this you will also be able to take a look at the rest of the Iberian fauna: bulls, oxen, goats…

Once you have visited the farm, you will go the main building, where an excellent traditional lunch will be waiting for you. A starter based on traditional soups according to the season, the continue with the best sausages of the region and iberian cheeses, accompanied by the famous tomato bread. You just can not leave without tasting the Iberian Ham! Enjoy this tour with us.

Fantastic day

My friends and I enjoyed a relaxing tour of Toledo and a local farmstead. The favorite highlights were a delicious lunch and tour of the farm. The lunch included cheese and meats which were produced on the farm. The fresh tomato jam served with estate produced olive oil spread on fresh bread was fantastic! The estate red wine complimented the meal. Our tour included a ride around the farmstead to visit the pigs and the bulls. Beautiful scenery made the ride even more enjoyable. Our guide, Dylan, was exceptional! He was very knowledgeable about the area and shared many interesting facts with us. He was an excellent driver and made us feel safe during our journey. His sense of humor and caring nature made us feel welcome and relaxed. I highly recommend Dylan for any tour. The ladies, Lisa & Angelica, in the We office were also very helpful and welcoming. They served us glasses of Cava when we returned from the tour. I would use this tour group again.

Perfect Guide, perfect day

Guides can make or break a tour. We were so fortunate to have been paired up with Dylan. He is outgoing, knowledgeable and fun. Our day was interesting, transportation very comfortable and Dylan went out of his way for us! Yes, the perfect guide makes for a perfect day!

Too little Toledo

Although our guide was cheerful, we felt rushed through the sites and historical details were lacking. The visit to the farm (actually a huge private estate) was interesting, but lunch consisted of gazpacho, a variety of ham, and slices of cheese. We deliberately ate little of the ham and cheese because we thought a hot entree was to follow (we were primed by the company that organized the tour to expect a “really special” meal) but only a plate of cookies followed the ham and cheese. In a nutshell, I think we overpaid for this tour.

Toledo City and farm tour

Great tour. My only suggestion is to not advertise the meal. As a lunch as it was very disappointing. Only ham, cheese and bread. Better to under promise and over deliver.

This is the Real Spain

This is a small group tour, which is wonderful - 8 people in total. Toledo is a nice old town. The tour we got gave us a good overview of the city - the guide was great. I couldn't see staying for much longer there and we were glad we had the farm tour to look forward to. Only 5 of us went on the farm tour (2 families) - the others stayed in Toledo and we picked them up later. At the farm we first had a wonderful, private lunch of products produced on the farm: ham, sheep cheese, tomato bread. Then we boarded a truck that drove us around to see the Iberian pigs, bulls, and then the main house, which is owned by a royal relative. Plenty of time to ask questions and learn about this large estate. Highly recommend this tour and this tour group. However, there was a small hiccup in the beginning as they asked to change our date only 2 days before the tour due to something happening at the farm. Luckily we could do the tour the day before we were originally scheduled (they would have arranged something slightly different if we couldn't change the date) - this is something I think they should have known much further in advance. Nevertheless, if you want something slightly off the beaten path, go for it.
