After more than eighty years of his death, the place where the remains of Federico García Lorca are found is a unknown.
This route begins just ten kilometers away from Granada capital, in the municipality of Alfacar, specifically in Fuente Grande or Fountain of Tears (Aynadamar in arabic language, as the locals called it more than five centuries ago).
Along the tour, the guide will place the visitor in context and narrate aspects of the life of Federico García Lorca and enliven the walk with the read of pieces by the author from Granada.
From the Federico García Lorca Park, the route will continue towards a point of Historical Memory, the Barranco de Víznar. In this place, every year and spontaneously, in August another tribute happen, near the date of his death. In this case, it is carried out by the singer of Sacromonte Curro Albaycín together with anyone who wants to add it.
From the Barranco de Víznar, the route will continue to La Colonia de Víznar, an old ruins mansion, since it was demolished and that during the Civil War it was a prison. In this place, Federico García Lorca spent his last days and will be the place where the march will end.
