I have enjoyed the food for as long as I can remember. We all have memories that link us to joyful moments related to food. Those special dishes, which, when enjoyed, tell us stories of the past, shared moments, love and memories, are the ones that are part of the kitchen of the heart. Each one of us has kept a virtual notebook with those flavors and aromas: grandmother’s stews, aunt’s desserts, the pizza kneaded among friends on a Saturday night…
I am happy to invite you to my virtual Paella cook class in Granada. I will share my grandmother’s secrets, which I learned from her when I was a young girl trying to survive in my bachelorette apartment without much idea how to make even one fried egg!
Now, married with two children, I had to really learn how to cook and over time I have become an expert, not another option!
In this online class, I will meet you and all the other guests in their own private kitchens around the world to share some classic and tasty Spanish recipes. You will prepare a complete menu of 2 different courses:

*AUTHENTIC SPANISH SEAFOOD Paella ( vegeterian option available)
Made with “bomba” rice, fresh seafood, fresh & local vegetables.
*Super tasty and fresh local cod, orange and olive SALAD called Remojon Granadino.

You will receive the recipe for the dish beforehand so you can cook along with me at home so you can continue to wow friends and family with your newfound cooking skills.

I want you to have as authentic a Spanish experience as possible. I will be happy to answer any question you have about Granada. Enjoy your vacation with us.

  • Paella is Spain’s most popular rice and the icon of its cuisine. But don’t forget that the most classic Spanish paellas are actually made with rabbit and snails — no chorizo in sight!. This easy seafood paella recipe is a bit different than the “classic” paella you might have in mind.
  • This time we won't use rabbit or snails but...what the travelers should bring for the Paella and for the Granadian Cod Salad?.
  • Granada Remojon Salad: 300 grams of desalted cod 2 units of Orange ½ Onion unit 15 pitted black olives 1 pinch of salt vinegar olive oil.
  • Seafood Paella (for 2 people): paella pan or large frying pan- 3 cloves garlic -1/2 onion -1/2 red bell pepper -1 cleaned tube of squid -1/3 cup extra virgin Spanish olive oil -1/2 cup tomato puree -1/2 tsp smoked paprika -sea salt -black pepper- 2 1/2 cups fish broth -1 sachet Spanish saffron in powder form -1 cup round rice -12 raw jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined) -8 fresh mussels (debearded and cleaned) -fresh parsley -lemon.
