The Sagrada Familia is very impressive. You could spend days just understanding all the intricacies of the architecture. The guide was for informative and showed her love of the building. Only negative was the tower was only one way on the elevator and you walked down 400+ steps on a winding staircase with very bad lighting. This was only announce on the tour.

Great Guide And Tour!
We booked this tour and had an amazing experience with David! He told us almost the entire biblical story through Gaudi’s eyes and the facade of the building, showed us where to get the perfect camera angle, and was a great conversationalist! We learned so much and had a great time, especially with the tower access being open. He was very encouraging to my sister coming down the stairs, as her fear of heights kicked in a bit. Our favorite part of the tour was that you could see how passionate he was about Sagrada Familia in how he spoke about it. Would definitely recommend a tour with David!
I was advised “be sure you get a tour with the towers” -and sooo right that is!!!! Found guide with minimal issue, skirted past the line, ear system worked perfectly, right amount of time spent and info given. Our tour was in the afternoon so we got the beautiful red-gold light (I was also advised to go back in the morning sometime, so as to experience the blue light from the East windows, didn’t get time this trip, so we’ll have to come back!).
Not for the arthritic of knee, or fearful of heights, you ride the elevator up the tower, but then walk down the narrow spiral stairs, over 400 steps I think?)
The sanctuary took my breath away. Amazing.
I am disappointed with the vendor, IBE tours. We were there 1 minute before schedule and there was nobody there at 2:30 PM. Because we dont have the tickets on hand, it was with the guide, we cannot go in with only our confirmation ticket. So, we bought new set of tickets as added expense. Unlike other vendors, they reach to you through And are
considerate and accommodating. But even at exactly 2:30 PM, me and my family were considered no show. So, to everybody else, be there 30 minutes before departure because they leave before schedule. The Sagrada itself was NOT a disappointment. It was a nice architect by Gaudi. We plan to hear mass on Christmas Day in this church. I’m pretty sure it will not be a disappointment.
Unreal and gorgeous place. Breath taking. Make sure you get your tickets ahead of going or they will be sold out. We did the tour with headphones and it was perfect. Go at your own pace.
